My name is Alison Medeiros and this will be my tenth year teaching first grade for Ann Arbor Public Schools. I taught at Bryant for five years, and am excited about my fifth year as an Angell Eagle! I also taught second and third grades for Monroe Public Schools for eight years before I had my own children. I grew up in St. Louis, Missouri but have lived in Michigan all of my adult life. My hobbies include reading, playing soccer, and traveling with my family. I love animals, especially dogs. My older son is starting his sophomore year in college this fall. My younger son attends Ann Arbor Public Schools, and I love being a part of this diverse and vibrant district. I'm looking forward to meeting my new students and families, and having a great start to the 23-24 school year!
